What I Wore to Keith Urban

Howdy  friends.  Hahaha, JK.  This lucky girl had the chance to go out to the Keith Urban concert last weekend with my hubby.  It's funny when this outfit was shot, in August, I put it together being inspired by listening to country music and I thought, this is what I would wear if I was going to Keith Urban.  At the time we didn't have tickets or plans of going but lucky us there was a back to school special on tickets and they were only $25!  At that price why wouldn't we go, enjoy a great artist and get a date night in.  Even my husband was on board.

I have to tell you sitting in the higher section, where the back to school tickets were, was kind of a blast.  We were mostly surrounded by young, 18-30 year old, loving life and it was so fun to people watch but also infectious.  There were some mature people beside us that were severely annoyed that the younger crown was swaying on their feet and living their best life, but I kind of love to see that energy.  They weren't being obnoxious or anything but they paid for a concert, a fun concert, and they wanted to dance and have fun.  Usually I am the girl on my feet though for the most part I was sitting because he isn't an artist I listen to a ton, but I was really happy to be surrounded by die hard fans.  What kind of concert goer are you?

Logan and I started our date off at Picaro, a Latin local restaurant, that you have to try if you live in Saskatoon.  It was AMAZING!!!!  The beer and nacho combo is just what I needed after a long week at work.

Outfit details, everything is old!  Yep, my sister's closet came in for the win with this off-the-shoulders dress. I think it's absolutely a perfect dress to take into fall because of the darker colors and the geometric pattern detail brings some fun colors to play around with. Another thing I love about this dress is that the color can be worn on/off the shoulders, making it the perfect piece to transition with between  work and evening, which is exactly what I did. I thought about bringing out my cowboy boots for the even but honestly they felt over the top in this situation so I went with my favorite pair of riding boots. I think a good pair of brown boots are a must have and a great investment piece.  However  the subtle country trend is big this fall and if can by some subtler cowboy booties and  pair them up with some flannel to do the trend on point without going over the top, check this outfit here.  I kept my jewelry simple with some dangly earrings, purchased on a fairy or all places, and my new ......wrap bracelet, which has been on repeat a lot lately.  Since everything is from my existing closet, I 'll link up some similar possibilities.

    1. They were totally comfortable for standing in lines and also dancing around during the concert. The tix were a steal of a deal and so glad we didn't hesitate to buy. Thanks for stopping by.

  9. Well I went to kt tunstall and simple minds a few weeks ago . Open air concert. I wore jeans, T and a cozy cardi for when it got cold later. As it was mature people everyone stood and watched and waved hands and arms a bit. Not much in the way if dancing but no drunken antics of youths either.

    1. Sounds pretty good to me, especially the open air concert idea. I used to go to those in my younger days but our summers are short so not too much opportunity these days.
