Bye Bye January & What I Wore

Bye bye January!  That was a whirlwind of a month and I feel like February is a welcome change of pace.  For most people February is a hard month, but January really kicked my butt.  Although it was full of wonderful things, I felt like I was on a hamster wheel this month and I have finally gotten off and it's a welcomed change of pace.  Work was really really busy with lots of evening commitments, starting indoor relays and reading 400+ report cards.  It was also very cold for 6 days straight so that made life seem a little harder.  But it was also a month full of wonderful things.
  • 2 Birthdays!  Happy 19th birthday to our girl Halie (who is now legal drinking age here in SK) and happy birthday to my dad.
  • A quick 24hr. getaway to the cabin.
  • Rang the New Year celebrating LOVE with a family wedding.
  • IronSlug Challenge completed. It got me back in the pool for the first time in a year.  I was able to complete the requirements, 3.8 km swimming, 42.2km running/walking & 180 km biking, and get a few other things in as well.
  • Books Read: Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins  and Housemaid by Frieda McFadden ; both are ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Got outdoors to cross-country ski before the cold snap.
I documented a few, real life, teacher outfits from January.  The sun isn't up by the time I leave the house in the mornings so it's still dark as you can tell by the photos, but that's real life.

How was January for you?  What's on the docket for February?
