The Hair Tool I Can't Live Without

You guys I think this is my favorite Christmas 2019 gift EVER!!!  Since I brought up 2019, I think I'd like to have it back.  Anyone else?!?  Or let's skip on over to 2021!   Hahaha.

Anyway, my favorite hair tool hands down has been the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer brush!  You guys this has saved SOOOOO much time during my morning routine.   As many of you know I like to exercise in the morning before work. The problem with that is that I can't wash my hair in the shower because it takes at least 15 minutes to just blow dry it and then it's a a total frizzy mess.  So following blow drying I either have to straighten it or curl it which is another 10 minutes, for a total time close to 30 minutes which I don't have.  So my hairstyle is often a messy bun or I don't get it wet in the shower.

INTRODUCE Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer!  My life and hair completely changed.  In less than 10 minutes, NO JOKE, I am able to blow dry my hair and look like I had a blow out!  Seriously, I get complements on my hair volume all the time when I use it.  Best part is that in lasts a few days, so I don't have to use other heating tools daily to do my hair, thus protecting it and having less split ends.  Now over the course of the next month or two, hopefully not longer, you will notice my hair getting worse and worse.  I was supposed to have a hair cut this week but now everything is closed indefinitely so it might be a while.  Honestly if it gets really bad I may let my 13 year old try to cut my hair.  Please COVID-19 go away, so that doesn't happen.

Anyway, if you do get this brush, give it a chance.  It's awkward to get used to at first but stick with it.  There are a number of youtube videos, like this one,  to show you how to use it but I  section off my hair and do 1" to 1n1/2" inch strands.  I always finish it off with some hair oil to give it moisture, tame  flyaways and add shine.

Now I'd love to try some simple new hair styles.  Hit me up with your ideas!

    1. Eeek. I hope it works as well for you as it does for me. The hardest part to get used to is the size. Just give it a few tries and then it'll become natural to handle. I can't wait to see what you think of it and how it works for you Christy.

  3. You look smashing! I have fine, thin hair now after once having a head full of thick waves when I was younger. I NEED this tool. Thank you!

My daughter snipped off 6" of her hair the other day in desperation. I am not to that point yet. But my hair is longer now than it has been in years and years. Might have to hand PC the scissors. Or make an appointment with your 13 year old!!

    1. Oh wow, your daughter is brave! Eeek. I do love my 13 year old but not sure I trust her with a pair of scissors, but then again desperate times call for desprate measures. I wonder how if would work with fine hair, as I can sooooo much hair at this point in my life. Let me know if you decide to try it.

  4. OK - you have one - answer me a question - I have it in my cart to buy - but I'm still so skeptical about it working. I have the FRIZZIEST hair too.... I see that's what you said - but it really works, huh? I only hear good things about it but I have bought so many hair things that NEVER work for me... I'm so intrigued

    1. Rebecca, it minimizes the frizz BIG time. After the blowdryer my hair is a mess (mind you I just have a pretty standard blow drier not a fancy one). I do use the oil to smooth things out but it's been a game changer for me. If only you lived nearby, I would definitely lend it to you to try out first. The trickiest part was just getting used to the size and how to use it but after the first 3 times, it feels totally natural.

    1. Hahahaha. It's a bit of an investment and honestly if your current system isn't working for you, this is a great tool. On the other hand if you are happy with your system, then that's great too.

    1. Thanks Laura. It is hard to get used a new tool, especially if you have a routine and system that already works for you. My system prior to this tool wasn't working so this has made a world of difference.

    1. Thank you so much. I use it way more than I thought. Sometimes you buy products and then they just sit there unused, but not this one.

  11. Bo, this is an amazing tool. Your hair looks so great! I am always trying to gain more volume in my hair! I had to laugh at the opening lines of your post...I remember at the turn of the new year, so many people were sharing how happy they were that 2019 was over because it was such an awful time. Oh my, how things have turned that around! Perhaps one of the main lessons for all of us right now is to practice gratitude and healthy perspectives, I think. Thanks for sharing and keeping things cheerful, my friend!

    1. Yes Shelves. One of the practices I wanted to incorporate into 2020 was a daily gratitude practice. I am not daily but most mornings lately I begin with three things that are good and that seems to be helping me start the day on a positive note.

  12. Your hair looks so beautiful and flawless! My hair needs all the help it can get and this sound like an wonderful hair tool to look into. It's rare that I would do much to my hair because it is very fragile and thin. Sometimes I feel like if you just look at it wrong, it would decide to fall off. I know that's all in my head but that's how it feels when dealing with my hair. I hope you and your family are staying safe and well. Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead!
