Day Look
I love an outfit that can be transitioned from day to night without fuss. Check out this simple combination, knitted tank, leather pants, smart fitted blazer, simple basic jewelry and the only thing that's swapping out are the shoes. I am actually wearing this exact outfit for work today, with the sneakers, I am easily able to run around with kids, up and down the stairs of our four level school, and look stylish. Sidebar, a good pair of white sneakers has been in heavy rotation for me these past few years. I love the AirForce ones but if you don't want to drop a ton of money, grab a pair at half the cost when you go to a place like Marshalls or Winners, that's where I've gotten my last two pairs. Also, these leather pants have been worn so many times over the past several years and I need/want to buy a new pair. I am seriously considering spending a little extra an getting a pair of Spanx. Do you have them? Would you recommend?
The work week is done and I am ready for the weekend. Unfortunately today is Monday but I am looking at a short week over here this week so that's exciting. too. |
Night Look
Swap out the white sneakers for some fancy heels like these ones I purchased in Italy and grab a clutch, and you are ready for dinner or drinks out on the town. I love these new sandals. It's been a long time that I've purchased a pair of shoes that weren't "sensible" heels and I am soooooooo happy I did. Every time I put them on I feel like a mullion bucks. I wore this out for our anniversary dinner and the BackStreet Boys concert at the beginning of the month. Perfect outfit to peel off the blazer and dance the night away! And no, my feet never got tired!
Happy 19th Anniversary to the best husband in the world. Thanks for always being my photographer, even in the rain. LOL! |
Have a wonderful work week friends. Remember to carve out a little time for yourself each day and do something that you love. For me, that's a quite moment to have my coffee either in the morning or right after work and before I put supper on the table.
