Sunday Comfort

Ahhhh.  Sundays.  On the one hand they are dreadful because you are beginning to think about the week ahead, on the other hand they are that last bit of rest and relaxation you have to take advantage of.  Most Sundays are spent  with numerous cuddles with Oreo, several cups of coffee throughout the day, taking walks in nature, meal prepping and mid-day naps.  If I do venture out in public or to the stores, which with Christmas being so close is a given,  this is exactly the type of outfit you will see me out and about in, casual comfort.  Another pair of pants snagged from the teens discarded pile, these wide leg cords have become a favorite for casual days at the school, for running errands, or just keeping it real in life.  They pair so well with the softest color block sweater I have ever owned!  I purchased this at a local boutique, Belong Lifestyle,  for $15 when it was their 'daily deal' and I've worn it so many times already.  Anytime I need to look put together and casual but feel like staying in bed, I reach for it.  In keeping with the casual look, I always throw on my trusted white sneakers, good for comfort and still on trend.  Basically, in December this is the outfit I would like to have on repeat between all the glitter, sequins and velvet that I absolutely adore.

What's your Sunday style?

  1. Love that you can shop your kids' closets! Love the relaxed feel of this outfit. I typically change into some comfies after church.

    1. Me too. This is only if I am actually leaving the house to do city like errands. Hahaha. Otherwise its comfy joggers or lululemon athletic wear.

  2. We have church a lot on Sundays, so I'll be more dressy in the morning through brunch and then once I get home I will sometimes change into my PJ's early if I don't need to be anywhere else! Ha, ha! Ohhh, this outfit looks so cozy and I could see myself sipping coffee all day in it!

  3. Our Sundays are similar. I love it because it’s the most relaxed out of all the other days. Your outfit is super cute and it is something I would wear as well. Comfy, casual and chic. You can’t go wrong with that!

    1. That's exactly the same for us. I used to do my long runs on Sunday but then decided we needed a chill day instead.

    1. Yes, I guess the cords are white, never thought of it but completely agree. Also, kind of great for keeping me warm.
