This fall one of my goals was to up my blazer game. Blazers are an easy way to add layers to any outfit, be it casual, office or dinner out at a restaurant. They always elevate an outfit and are a staple for most women working in semi-casual or dressy work environments. Over the past couple of years I've been adding a few here and there throughout for different seasons, see a light weight floral one featured here and my favorite oversized one here.
I just added this blue blazer recently while shopping at the Belong Lifestyle Saskatoon launch event. I went in knowing that I wanted to add a blazer to my closet, as well a casual black top. I like going to events knowing what I might be looking so that I can support a local business but also purchase something that I actually need and is within my price range. I wish I had an infinite budget but I don't so I am usually very strategic where and when I attend events based on whether I can support them or not. Anyway, the ladies right away brought me a couple of options but they knew I would love the blue blazer. I love when sale staff knows you like that. It fits absolutely perfectly in the arms and shoulders. The fit is slender but not tight. The material is soft and comfortable to move around it. I can stretch my arms and wrap myself in a hug and there is no pulling or tightening. It was immediately a perfect fit and I knew it was coming home with me. So let's see how I've styled it over the past few weeks.

Obsessed with the Grease You're The One That I Want tee (also from Belong Lifestyle). I love this whole look but next time I might switch out the jeans for my leather leggings.
It's Thanksgiving here in Canada so happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends. Although we are all struggling through the ongoing pandemic in different ways, I hope you are able to be with people you love. Everyone else, happy Monday and I am so thankful that you choose to visit my little blog and to connect with me. Thank you.
That's such a beautiful blazer on you - what a great colour! I particularly like how it works in the office outfit but it works in the others so well too! I really like colourful comfy blazers but they can be tricky to find! I have a mustard one on my list to try find as I passed it up at an opshop years ago and always regretted it!
ReplyDeleteHope your week is going well so far :) It's a rainy one here!
Away From The Blue
Isn't that just the worst, when you pass on something and then regret it for a long time. A comfy blazer is really hard to find, I used to often have luck at H & M. Have you tried them?
DeleteYour blazer is fabulous and such a pretty shade of blue on you! All of these outfits are so chic! The first outfit is my favorite! I need to get my hands on that Grease tee!
ReplyDeleteJill - Doused in Pink
Isn't that tee so much fun?!? I tried to link it but they were all sold out of both the blazer and the tee when I checked.
DeleteBlazers are such a great wardrobe piece! Love this blue blazer and all three ways you have styled it!

DeleteSo refreshing to see a blogger wearing the same item for different purposes, really enjoyed this - thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much. I actually often do a three ways post because I want people to know that I actually have a normal budget and don't buy new clothes over and over! LOL! Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteThat Grease t-shirt is everything, love the styling with the blazer!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteI have to say you look the most excited about date night in these photos, ha, ha! It gave me a good laugh. Love it! This is such a versatile blazer!

I adore that blue jacket!
ReplyDeleteEverything is adorable about all 3 of these looks but the most casual is my fave. Love the silver shoes and that darling graphic tee with the blazer.
ReplyDeleteI just love this blazer with the graphic tee. I mean I love it all the ways, but it seems so fun that way.
