I am finally back to blogging after a much needed break and family vacay to Disney World. Stayed tuned for family updates, Disney recaps and of course fashion posts over the next few months of spring.
Today, I am here with the ladies of Ageless Style for our monthly fashion prompt and link-up; here every third Thursday of the month. This month the classy Rosemary from Distinctly Southern Style chose white tops. This is such a great prompt because everyone needs a white tee, tank or blouse in their closet, or multiples. In fact the white tank was one of the top staples for fall fashion this past year and I love this knitted tank that I purchased while in Italy last summer. Usually I put away my spring/summer clothes in a bin for the fall/winter months, but a white top is a staple that doesn't ever need to leave your closet. Today I am showing you three different ways to style this top for spring/summer, from office, to dinner to beach.
#1 Office/Work Wear
Bold pink suit and the white tank is just the ticket to bring some neutral vibes to this statement outfit. Pair it with neutrals pumps and simple jewelry.
#2 Spring/Summer Evening on the Patio for Drinks & Dinner
Throw on a pretty midi skirt, or a maxi skirt, and tuck in this knitted top for a dressy but cool vibe. Dress it down by throwing on a denim jacket or dress it up with a trench coat.
#3 The Beach is Calling
Oh, summer. My favorite season of the year. I would actually wear this outfit to both work in late June when the days get super hot, or to the beach, with a straw hat and bag for those beachy vibes.
Which is your favorite look?
Now make sure to check out how the rest of the ladies are styling their white tops by blog hopping and don't forget to link-up your own posts below. See you all on Monday!

All 3 are fabulous looks! I so rarely wear a white tee or tank but they are so versatile.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, I think a lot of it comes down to us worrying that we will get them dirty, and it's a one wear kind of thing, sometimes for not even a full day. LOL.
DeleteAll 3 looks look great on you!

Thanks Jennifer!
DeleteIt's great how you can wear a classic white tank in so many ways and for such a variety of occasions. Your knitted tank is so pretty and I love all your outfits.
ReplyDeleteAwe, thank you so much. It really is a versatile piece and I use it all year long.
DeleteThis really shows how versatile a white tank is! All of these looks are gorgeous! Love it styled with the pleated skirt!

Thanks Jill. Having classic pieces like this can really help you save money so that you can spend it on other pieces that are more trendy.
DeleteI love how you styled your classic white tee❣️ White tees are a staple in my wardrobe. They always fill the gap either along or layered and bring my outfits together. www.distincltysouthernstyle.com
ReplyDeleteI 100% agree. I just need to remember to wear them more often because they are so easy to integrate into so many different outfits.
DeleteI love the pretty details of your tank! I love the beachy look but the other two are really cute too. Love how you showed the versatility of a classic piece.

DeleteWhat cute looks! I love wearing white tops with bright colors, and khakis like you've shown.
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteGreat outfits - I love it especially with the pleated skirt.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Sally!
DeleteThat is definitely the most versatile top ever. You can layer it lots when it's cold and it's perfect for the warm weather by itself. Of course I love it with the bright pink,

I love it with bright pink too!!!
DeleteThat is such a classic tank on you! While I love it with the pink suit, with those cute shorts is my favourite! I've been wearing a lot of light shorts like that recently, as our autumn weather still feels so much like summer!
ReplyDeleteI love the beachy look too and can't wait to be actually wearring it!
DeleteCan't pick a favorite!! Well, maybe the shorts outfit. It is just so cute, so beachy and fresh and summery. Love the bag and the hat, too. Adorable.
ReplyDeleteThat white top is perfect for wearing under a jacket in the spring. And what a gorgeous magenta pink suit!! I bought a similar top in a wheat color late last summer and never had an opportunity to wear it. Going to dig it out and try it with a white blazer. Thanks for the inspo!!
Hope you guys had the best time in Disney.
Oh Lezlie, I bet that's going to look soooooo good on you. I also love the beachy look and am so hopeful that I'll get to actually wear it soon.
DeleteThat is such a great top! You know I love that pink suit so much any way you wear it!
