Morning Elegance & My FabFitFun Box Review

One day on the weekend, usually Sunday, I like  to reserve just for relaxing, reading a book, writing a blog post,  and drinking my coffee.  The idea of taking two hours to just move around slowly, in my otherwise quick paced life, is a gift.  In reality, this usually  happens 50% of the time on any regular weekend BUT when we go to the lake, it just naturally happens.  I sip my coffee, lounge in my robe, read my book by my window that looks out into stillness.  There are usually dear roaming about, the trees swaying back and forth, and it seems that the sun is always shining  regardless of the season.  Ahhhhhh.  I do love that life.

Now, how gorgeous is my new robe that I received in my FabFitFun spring box?!?  Seriously the fabric is so soft and gentle on my skin.  The floral print makes me dream of spring flowers, sunny days, and sipping my coffee outside on my deck.  The colors are vibrant and yet not overpowering.  The high/low structure flows off the body perfectly and elegantly.  I actually saw a fellow blogger Carrie from Curly Crafty Mom wearing this robe as a kimono instead of the traditional robe and  thought, that's brilliant.  I do have one plain silk robe from my wedding that I like to wear, but this one makes me feel feminine, pretty and happy every time I put it on.  I'd say it was time to upgrade and I couldn't be happier with it!

The spring FabFitFun box was a really pleasant surprise.  I like every box to be honest, because I would never be able to try all these products without it. This box provides me with so much happiness and anticipation as a mom, that it's truly worth it.  I have a $10 off your first purchase if you decided to try it out and make sure you let me know what you think of it.

What else came in my box? Have a great weekend everyone.  We are off to our first dance competition and the girls are soooooooo excited!

  1. This box is so good! Your robe is so pretty and you can definitely wear it as a kimono too like Carrie did! That body scrub sounds amazing and I love those swell bottles!

    1. The box is so much fun to get, but even more so the anticipation of its arrival gives me so much joy. I guess I am like a child waiting for Xmas morning. :)

  2. We get that box too. It's so much fun to open it up and check out all the goodies inside. Lauren, my teen daughter, immediately took the robe, lol.

    1. Maybe the backpack? Do you like it? I debated but didn't do it as an add on and now I am kind of regretting it as my old backpack is not holding up so well.

    1. I am so in love with the robe. The box is $$ but I just never would buy any of the items on my own, so I find it so exciting to receive it, but I wonder if it'll wear off after a full year of getting the box.

  5. Wow, what a beautiful robe! Love the floral print and it looks so cozy. I love our Sunday's here too. Unless there's a birthday party or some event, I don't like to sign us up for anything. I feel like it's the one day we are all home as a family and the one day that we can catch up on each other or our own things. I hope your week is off to a great start and happy Wednesday!

    1. Girl, you and I are very much aligned. When the girls were younger we avoided activities on weekends at all costs, though now it's getting more difficult. Our weeks are so busy that I feel like we need a day for just our family unit, to keep us strong and connected.

  6. What a pretty robe! And it screams lets relax! I am looking forward to my youngest sleeping in some but until then my evenings are usually my time to wind down. Everyone goes to bed early so I really enjoy my me time!

    1. I totally remember those days. My husband and I really had to reassess our evenings because our girls have gotten older, hence they are staying up later, but as a result we were not getting any adult time in the evening. It's funny how things change. Time for you is important and we all have to carve it out in different ways depending on our life. I am glad you have found something that works for you.

    1. Thanks Laura. I was really on the fence for a long time, especially since I live in Canada so the conversion rate makes the box even more $$$ but I love getting it. A treat for me. :)
