Tulips and Dresses: Ahhh Feeling Spring-y

I am happy to announce that spring has sprung (fingers crossed I don't end up jinxing it and we get another showing of snow, hahaha).  No, I really think it's here to finally stay and I couldn't be happier.  A couple of weeks ago, right after we did get a bunch of snow, I bough some tulips to cheer me up.  A simple bunch of tulips just brightens the day and I needed it.  Shortly after, the sun was out and the temps were showing sings of spring so I decided to shoot this outfit that I am dying to wear for a daytime trip to a wine tasting or a brunch, you know when we things reopen, but until then I've decided that I feel better when I get all dressed up even if it's just to stay home.  It makes me feel happier, more productive and also I find I eat less when I am not wearing stretchy pants.

What are you wearing these days?

  2. This dress is so pretty and I love fresh flowers to brighten things up! Your shoes are really fabulous, too. I've been keeping it more comfortable these days but I am looking forward to wearing some different things when our weather gets nicer.

    1. I hear you. Ive been supper casual too and it makes sense but it was nice to get all dressed up. To feel pretty and like maybe one day we would get to go for a brunch again and stroll parks. Ice also struggled to really invest $ in clothing as we aren't really going anywhere, so it seem frivolous to me in some ways.

  5. You little doll, carrying a bag of tulips with snow in the background. Good grief, your winter is lasting forever! Love that Old Navy dress. I would have bet it was from H&M as I saw and fell in love with one very similar there. It fits you perfectly!!

    1. No more snow! Its all melted away, at least in the city. We came up to our cabin and there is still some here but it's on its way out. The days are long and the sun is warming us up more and more each day. Yippee! Thanks for the kind words. You always make me feel so good. Its a gift you have and give to others.

  9. Bo, I absolutely adore this dress and your shoes! Such a perfect spring look. And I think every woman should have a little white dress! We had two really nice spring like days this past week but we are back to cold rain again! Thanks for linking up with me.

  10. All this is made possible, without you having to face any hassles while you shop online. Webpages at ecommerce stores are often easy to navigate, checkout process is comfortable and payment processes are well defined. weed clothing
