Good morning friends of all ages, stages and styles. I am so happy you are here and know I appreciate you being here with me today. Today is the third Thursday of the month which means I am joining the ladies of Ageless Style to bring you our varied styles and variations of a prompt chosen by one of the ladies. Today we are styling graphic tees thanks to one of the sweetest people I have met through this blogging journey. If you haven't met Leslie from Once Upon a Time & Happily Ever After, you really should because she is kind, thoughtful, and funny.
When Leslie suggested graphic tees, I was thinking "YES, this is easy peasy." I've since discovered that I used to have graphic tees but really don't have any at the moment, other than one Mickey Mouse and this Backstreet Boys one that I bought at a concert a few years ago. It's massive as that's all they had and I usually wear it with biker shorts, leggings or loose over jean shorts in the summer. I've also styled it for work with a blazer which I really like to do and the kids always comment on it and I kind of feel cool, LOL! When I went to the mall the other day, I decided to add some edge to it with my faux leather jacket and my newly colored hair. I am back to being a BRUNETTE baby! Anyway, I love how it came together and have a new desire to add a graphic tee or two to my collection this summer. Next months prompt is Black & White on May 15th.
I am up, up and away early tomorrow morning for our European 10 day adventure. I will be taking a two week blogging break but you can follow our travels and shenanigans along on IG.
I didn't have a single graphic tee! I went rooting through my husband's and my son's closet (out of the 3 boys only one wears graphic tees) and couldn't find anything that I liked or that fit. I think a graphic tee with a faux leather jacket is a great combination. I hope you have the most wonderful trip!
ReplyDeleteOh no! It's funny, you think this is going to be easy and then somehow you realize it's actually not something you have in your closet. I feel like graphic tees were so popular at one time that I just assumed I had a few. I am curious what you ended up styling.
DeleteCute outfit!

Thanks for stopping by, we appreciate it.
DeleteSuch a cute look and future inspiration for me!! I've added some new graphic tees the past couple of years having gotten rid of some. Target has had some cute ones: I got the new blue "le soleil"one. Enjoy your trip!

I wish we had a target. We did a long time ago for a few years and I always went to it. I really really liked it, way better than our WalMarts but then it didn't last. We seem to be closing lots of store fronts these days. Anyway, I am excited to check out what you styled.
DeleteYou look so cute in this outfit. I love you as a brunette too! Enjoy your vacation
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! It's been an awesome change and much easier to manage.
DeleteYour hair looks amazing, Bo. I love how the kids comment on the tee with your blazer. But this look is truly fabulous. Edgy and chic all in one.

Thanks so much! I am loving the hair change honestly.
DeleteThank you so much. I truly enjoying the change and it'll be much easier to upkeep.
DeleteHey doll, thank you for the sweetest shout out. I am sorry that you didn't have a graphic tee when I suggested this prompt but excited that you rose to the occasion and bought a couple new ones!! Atta girl. Love this whole look and the kids at school are going to think you are super cool in your moto jacket and tee combo. Really think your new color suits you. Makes your beautiful eyes POP!!
ReplyDeleteWondering - did you pack your graphic tees for the trip? Have the very best time. Will be following along on your adventures on IG. Safe travels. Make some lifelong memories.
Thanks ! I did pack one graphic tee for Disney Paris and I might just wear it another day because Mickey is the best. Happy Easter to you and yours.
DeleteHope you guys experienced ZERO travel issues and jet lag and are enjoying the adventure of a lifetime. Going to need a photo of you in your Mickey tee!! XO
DeleteOoooh!!! This is so cool, Bo! I kept looking at the photos and thinking something was different. Then, I read your post and saw you'd changed your hair color! I love it! But, you always look amazing! Have a fab time on your vacation!

Well you just made me blush and feel really good all at the same time. Thanks Marsha.
DeleteLeslie is the best! She is so sweet! I love graphic tees, but have a hard time finding ones that I actually like. This is really cute with the edgy jacket! Hope you have an INCREDIBLE trip!
ReplyDeleteI am with you. I've kind of realized that the graphic tees have fissled our of my wardrobe and I clearly haven't replenished because this tee is like 4 years old. Hahahaha.
DeleteLaura, you are so sweet!! Big hugs to you and Bo, both. Love you girls.
DeleteThis is such a cute look! Love your styling and the edgy vibe!
