- 2 Birthdays! Happy 19th birthday to our girl Halie (who is now legal drinking age here in SK) and happy birthday to my dad.
- A quick 24hr. getaway to the cabin.
- Rang the New Year celebrating LOVE with a family wedding.
- IronSlug Challenge completed. It got me back in the pool for the first time in a year. I was able to complete the requirements, 3.8 km swimming, 42.2km running/walking & 180 km biking, and get a few other things in as well.
- Books Read: Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins and Housemaid by Frieda McFadden ; both are ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Got outdoors to cross-country ski before the cold snap.
I documented a few, real life, teacher outfits from January. The sun isn't up by the time I leave the house in the mornings so it's still dark as you can tell by the photos, but that's real life.
How was January for you? What's on the docket for February?

Busy but great.
DeleteSuch cute looks!! I bet your faculty just loves the way you dress. I really like the shorter skirt with the tights and boots. And that chunky white pullover.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a quick trip to the cabin for a little getaway. Good for you to get a little cross country skiing in, too.
Loved Atmosphere. It was a 5-star in my book. Haven't read Housemaid. We just finished Theo of Golden. It was breathtaking.
Theo of Golden is on my list too! I wish I had more time to just sit and read. I love getting into a good book. Anyway, I do love to dress for work and eventually when I am not working I think that will be a tricky transition for me because I identify with that business casual style so much. Not that I need to worry about that anytime soon. LOL. Believe it or not, we got another weekend away to the lake over this past weekend.
